Overbooked...makes for INCONVENIENCE!
We booked our accommodations here several months in advance and two nights before our arrival confirmed our reservations for a non-smoking queen room. One hour before our arrival, we confirmed our directions to Seven Gables Inn. Upon our arrival, Seven Gables Inn informed us that they overbooked their hotel and that we would have to stay at another hotel. Not only were we inconvenienced, we were nearly late for our Cardinals/Cubs game and Seven Gables Inn did nothing other than provide us another hotel to stay at and let me not forget...an "I'm Sorry!" There was no reimbursement for the inconvenience or please try us again! Where has customer service gone and do they not know how many rooms they have to book? I would not recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay at a luxury hotel especially on a romantic getaway!Reviewed on: September 17, 2007
