In only year three of business, Solstice Kitchen & Wine Bar is considered by many to be Columbia’s best restaurant. The menu is true to the name “Solstice” as it “changes with the seasons”. On a daily basis there are a variety of menus offered including a $25 Three Course Menu on Mondays & Tuesdays, a $30 Four Course Menu on Wednesdays & Thursdays, as well as other nightly specials featuring unique wine pairings coordinated by Owner/Chef Ricky Mollohan & GM/Sommelier Michael Cramer. The cuisine is based around local, Southern ingredients, but also showcases unique interpretations of dishes that range from French to Japanese to Mediterranean to contemporary American dishes like the Tableside Prepared Beef Tartare, Hudson Valley Foie Gras and the already-famous Smoked Gouda & Applewood Bacon Mac-n-Cheese. Solstice also offers one of SC’s best Wine Lists with over 700 selections from every wine region imaginable and an impressive list of unique cocktails & house-infused liquor
