"I’ve had the opportunity to partake of Jan-Plan classes the past two Januaries. The classes meet for two hours Wednesday evenings in…well, January! I’ve taken “Everyone Can Learn To Draw!”, which was great fun… It’s based on the “Drawing On The Right Side of The Brain”. The Instructor, Kathryn Ramseur-Riley was fab! Last year I took “Everyone Can Play The Piano”. The instructor, Jim Fritz really spent a lot of time with each student. You won’t see my “artwork” in any museum any time soon, nor will I be playing Carnegie Hall, but I learned a lot and had great fun. Some of the other courses include “Spanish in 10 minutes a day”, “Buying and Selling on eBay”, and lots more, that as far as I know, have yet to be determined. This is a great opportunity for you “snowbirds” to have something to do in January, as well as to mingle with the locals while being taught by instructors at the Island’s most prestigious school (over 50% of the faculty have post-graduate degrees). Definitely worth your time and money (tuition is someplace in the 80.00 – 100.00 range per course! Check it out…Learn, and have fun doing it!"
