"Sydney Pierson always has a beautiful collection of European antiques. Hilton Head is not really an antiques destination (for that, take the hour drive South to Savannah, or the two hour drive North to Charleston). That being said, this store can always be counted on for truly fine period and accessories. Prices tend to be in the stratosphere, but they do not waste your time by having to sort through reproductions or marginal pieces. Everything seems to have been chosen with a designer’s eye, so it genuinely is a feast for the senses. Reminds me of a “designer source” store you might find on Melrose in LA or Miami Circle in Atlanta. I would say it’s definitely not a kid-friendly environment, nor is it for the bargain-hunter."
