"Being a guy, I personally have never shopped here. I don’t think they have a men’s line, and if they do, it’s surely not my style. That being said, I know many local Island women who love this store, and the clothes look great on them. Lots of bright florals… some of the color combinations remind me of the “preppy days”...pink and green, etc. Even though Lilly Pulitzer has been around since at least the 60’s, and may have achieved a sort of middle-aged lady “cruise wear” rep, the new designs are fun, flirty, and look very fab on my younger lady friends…Perfect for the Hilton Head (or any beach resort) destination! They’re bright, cheerful, and the right kinda girl can easily pull this off (preferably a tall, slinky blonde (ala Jessica Simpson or Gwyneth Paltrow). I have a dear friend, who’s a middle-aged, but very toned (and tan) lady and she wears these clothes beautifully… So Hilton Head, So Palm Beach, So Naples… This is NOT your mother’s Lilly!"
