"I read that this church is expected to be finished in 2026! Meaning it took about 140 years to build! Crazy! Although they don’t seem to be doing much work on it, so I shouldn’t be surprised. It was nice it wasn’t a huge construction site, of course, because then visitors wouldn’t be able to see it- and it’s definitely worth seeing! The intricateness of it, and the towering spires… it’s so unusual and great! I doubt you’ve ever seen anything like it!"

"Now this is what gothic architecture is all about with looming spires. Its a cathedral that even over the many years has never been finished and has always been in constant construction. I didn’t get a chance to go inside but just seeing it from outside is amazing."

"the temple de la sagrada familia is just an architectural masterpiece. it’s one of the most famous sites in spain…you’ve definitely seen a picture of it if you ever took a spanish class. it’s fantastic…gothic and beautiful. go here and take pictures; it took forever to build."
