"It's in all the guidebooks, but you really should make the effort to take a stroll in this neighborhood. Tons of old turn-of-the-century art nouveau townhomes and apartment buildings. Tons of stuff by Gaudi too. Don't miss the tours of the Casa Mila with it's bizzare rooftop chimney stacks. Great photo ops of up close architecture of this city. See the inside of one of the apartments and the intricate details of the time period. The courtyard is absolutely amazing and unbelievable."
