Awesome Madrid subway system
"My little sister has lived in Madrid for over 10 years with her guy. It's an incredible place to visit. History, great food, wonderful shopping & walking are everywhere. It's a safe walking town, the subway is easy to use with even the most elemental Spanish, All you need are a 10 ride ticket which is the best deal, & a city subway map. I had never been on a subway prior to visiting there, & was able to navigate the city within a few days. The system feels safe even late at night. It's so easy to live or visit there w/o a vehicle.
