The Hotel Top Planamar is a resort hotel with modern white facade, located 50 metres from the sandy beach on the Costa Maresme, 150 metres from Malgrat de Mar train station, 300 metres from the town centre. The 156 guestrooms have simple decor with balconies or terraces with views of the sea, wood furniture including coffee table, chairs and desk, and patterned fabrics. There are many attractions in the area including the lively resort of Lloret de Mar, eight kilometres from the hotel, and the pretty beaches of Tossa de Mar are 18 kilometres away.
