Summary of Exit/Inn
Exit/Inn
2208 Elliston Place
Nashville, TN 37203
615-321-3340
The legendary Exit/In appears in the classic Robert Altman movie Nashville and has probably hosted more about-to-be-famous acts since that time than most any club between the coasts. It has flirted with permanent closure a few times since its 1971 opening and now shares the city’s rock scene with a lot of competitors, but it’s still one of the best places in town to see a good band on a magic night. It attracts its share of music-fan regulars and students from nearby Vanderbilt, as well as an older crowd that pops in when the show is right. Come to the Exit-In for good sound, room to breathe, and a fun Elliston Place location—with plenty of other bars and restaurants nearby. The floor is split into two levels, so even the shortest member of your crew can manage to ogle the lead singer with ease.
