Summary of Family Wash
The Family Wash is located in an ungentrified section of East Nashville, in a converted Laundromat, next to an intersection crossed by train tracks. Sound enticing? Somehow, the place still started off with a bang when it opened and remains a jumping space Tuesday through Saturday nights. The stage is small and seating at the small tables is limited, so come for dinner and grab some tasty food from an impossibly small kitchen. Quality beers and wine are dispatched from a curvy concrete bar, interesting local art always lines the walls, and smokers congregate in a separate lounge by the entrance. The Family Wash is a popular venue for East Nashville hipsters in their 20s to 40s, but mostly unknown to everyone else.
