Frank Smith opened his first opened his museum of Antique Sewing Machines in 1975 in Fort Worth. It later moved and spent 14 years in Arlington, Texas. Unfortunately, the museum closed in 2000 and the machines are in storage today. Visitors to the area can still stay in many wonderful hotels near the Antique Sewing Machine Museum location and enjoy the area. Arlington has many wonderful opportunities for visitors and hopefully a home will be found for his machines so enthusiasts will once again be able to view these pieces of history.
