Zoot’s philosophy is flavor first. Taste matters. At Zoot, the belief is that when the best ingredients are chosen with care, respectfully prepared and plated with restraint, the design of the dish becomes at once appropriate and secondary. Great food must engage the senses in such a way as to connect the acts of cooking and serving to the joy of eating as an exercise of the soul. At Zoot, their standard is to make this connection with every plate and to have fun doing it.
