Important Hotel Information:

Nestled among glistening architectural giants in the city’s posh arts district, the Fairmont Dallas provides an amalgam of classic charm and contemporary sophistication. Featuring marble floors and massive stone-colored columns, the Fairmont’s foyer sets the stage for the hotel’s plush atmosphere. Stroll across the foyer into the Lobby Bar and Café, whose in-house pianist will greet you with a melody.vItalian-style accommodations await you in the guest rooms – the colors of the Tuscan hillsides might bring visions of an autumn wine crush to mind. If the thought of a rich cabernet tempts your palate, head for the Pyramid Grill. Vintage wines are served alongside entrees such as grilled prawns with lemon-garlic sauce and Texmati rice. Before you retire, make time to stargaze from the heated rooftop pool.

Good location, nice staff

leah's rating:

"I stayed here for a wedding in Dallas. It’s two blocks from the Dallas Art Museum and really close to lots of other downtown attractions. Inside, it’s pretty nice, and pretty big. There are robes and cute toiletries in the bathroom. Really good pillows, too, and a good selection in the mini-bar. The pool is on small rooftop, and even though it’s weird to be surrounded by skyscrapers when you’re laying out, it’s kind of fun, and they have a pretty good pool menu and a really nice staff of servers. The lobby bar is also a fun place to stop for drinks on your way out (or back in). The hot breakfast buffet in the Pyramid restaurant has great omelettes."
