With more than 900 beds, Parkland Memorial Hospital is Dallas Countys largest full service facility, in addition to being the countys only public hospital. The campus is also the primary teaching institution for The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, as well as a training center for the nations physicians. Services include emergency care, trauma, surgical, ob/gyn programs and diagnostic cardiology. The Parkland Health & Hospital System is comprised of Parkland Memorial Hospital, Community Oriented Primary Care, Parkland Community Health Plan, Inc., and the Parkland Foundation.
