Since this gallery opened in 1996, Christopher Martin had a hit. The road from selling tropical fish to painting may be a long one, but its the one Martin traveled. His work reflects the bold colors and shimmering light he observed in his tropical fish tanks. He uses a unique “acrylic on acrylic” process to make his paintings come alive; he paints on a glass surface. The result is stunning, iridescent colors that change depending on the light.
