An assembly of artifacts celebrates the history of flight. From Leonardo Da Vinci to the Space Age, each display is carefully organized to provide in-depth information on aircraft history. Displayed artifacts are on loan from the University of Texas at Dallas Collection of Flight, one of the largest aviation archives in the country. Display highlights include one of the first aviation licenses issued in the U.S. and the largest unburned piece from the Hindenburg, a radio operators stool. Additional sections include women in aviation, lighter-than-air flight, commercial airliners, personal and business-style aircraft, airplane racing and an overview of Love Field airport.
