This upscale bar has the feeling of a semi-luxury loft and apartment. It is often filled with young yuppie-types, both gay and straight, who plop themselves on the overstuffed couches and go on about planning their mergers, takeovers and other deviously ambitious schemes. Do not let them scare you off, Zubar is still one of the friendliest places in town. Be sure to also try out the food, which includes oysters, shrimp, chicken and sandwiches.
