High above the plains near downtown Dallas sits a matchless mine turned restaurant. It’s a Dallas institution actually. This scenic, rustic restaurant is a fun, special occasion place to dine. Old wooden floors and walls lead you to a dining adventure. Do not pass by the resident donkey on the way in without saying hello. The view of Dallas from atop one of the few bluffs in the area is quite nice. The delicious steaks and seafood are served in hearty portions. Try the beer Cheese Soup or Cheddar, Hand-Battered Fried Cheese for starters.
