"Upon arriving at Steel, we were visited by a very friendly valet. Then we were warmly greeted by a hostess who immediately sat us at our table which we had called to reserve a few days prior to dining. The atmosphere was alive and we felt like this was going to be a fun dinner. Steel was packed even though it was midweek b/c it was restaurant week in Dallas. We decided to forgo the restaurant menu and made our selections off the main menu. We started with edamame and a dirty martini which was perfect. We then proceeded to try a martini made with champagne. My friend was disappointed in that and went back to the dirty martini. My favorite sushi was the Volcano Roll while my friend enjoyed having the rainbow, spider and philadelphia rolls. It is one of the best in the city for sushi and you do pay a high price for it but it is worth it."
