txsduckman's rating:

"The Seawall is probably the biggest draw in Galveston. Its a fun family outing but parking is a problem especially on the weekends and holidays. Basically you park on the side of the busy road and walk to some steps and carry your stuff down to the beach. The wall is about 17 ft. high in most places. There are a number of shops up and down the seawall across the street. You can buy all your beach needs here but will pay a premium price for them. I suggest going to the Wal-Mart if possible. Its not that far away and can save you quite a bit of money. The eats on the wall will be higher priced but some of them are very nice. I recommend Fish Tales and if you sit on the second floor balcony it gives you a nice view of the beach and a nice breeze as well. The food has always been good and the prices arent to outrages"
