Location. The Houston Grand Plaza Hotel is a historical landmark located in the city center of Houston, Texas’, Medical Center area. Restored in 2005 to its original 1960s grandeur, the hotel is located at the entrance to Reliant Park and the Astrodome. Hobby Airport is 15 miles away, and Houston’s renowned Museum District and Hermann Park are within six miles of the property.
Hotel Features. The Houston Grand Plaza Hotel is a nine story tower with five additional buildings that surround an outdoor pool area with a waterfall spa tub. A state of the art fitness center and full service spa offering massage therapists, cosmetologists and hair stylists are located on site. An 18,000 square foot ballroom is a stunning centerpiece accenting all 55,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. This facility is staffed with audiovisual equipment, Internet access and catering services. Dining on site at Stetson’s casual restaurant features Southwest cuisine served three meals daily, and ranch style Cattleman’s Club is open evenings serving cocktails and Texas fare.
