The Centro Cultural Aztlan of San Antonio aims to develop artistic and cultural consciousness through various events and programs. To promote Mobile Art from the El Arte de los Barrios community, they hold the extremely interesting Lowrider Festival every year. Here customized cars are displayed as art forms! There are even cash prizes offered for the best of the cars, trucks and bikes. This event is a complete family event and there are games, exhibits and yummy Tejano food. If you arent a huge fan of these mean machines then just accompany your friends for the fun live performances.
