Location. The AANA Resort & Spa is located on Klong Praow Beach on the picturesque island of Koh Chang. Koh Chang is in the Gulf of Thailand and is reached by ferry.
Hotel Features. The resort’s open air lobby building blends into the natural environment leading guests to the gangway to each guestroom. A full service health spa is on site offering massage treatment rooms and four Thai traditional style steam tents. All treatment rooms include outdoor baths. The main restaurant, Cinnamon, offers a breakfast buffet with Asian and Western influences and serves Thai influenced lunch and dinner options focusing on seafood selections, an extensive wine list and views of the Klong Praow River. The Beach Bar, located on the hotel’s private beach, offers tapas, salads and pizzas, and is open until the last guest leaves. The Hill Bar sits on the hill by one of the hotel’s two infinity pools and offers light snacks, wine and cocktails with views of the mountains, the resort, the river and the Gulf of Thailand. The hotel’s Kid’s Zone includes a children’s pool. A library offers computer use and Internet access.

Guestrooms. Dressed in whites, earth tones and greens, each of the AANA Resort & Spa’s guestrooms feature oversized terraces with comfortable furniture allowing for sight seeing or sunbathing. Refrigerators, coffeemakers and minibars with complimentary bottled water are in each guestroom. All rooms are equipped with cable television. Dial up Internet access is available for a fee. Baths offer slippers, bathrobes, bathroom scales, makeup mirrors, handheld showerheads and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. To go along with the meaning of its name, AANA means “Elephant” in the native Indian language of Malayalam, the resort offers elephant rides through the jungle and a pomello orchard or the opportunity to swim with the elephants in the Klong Praow River.
