Deadwood

My brother and I took a trip to the Black Hills and stayed in Deadwood during Wild Bill Hickok Days (June 13-16)The weather was beautiful, 74 degrees and sunny the whole weekend. While the town is quite diffrent then you would see on the TV series or read about, during this weekend a little bit of the old west comes out. From gunfights in the streets and saloons with gambling and drinking in the streets added in are free concerts setup right in main st. And the fastest quickdraw championships held at a field down the road was something to see. Add in a day trip to see Mount Rushmore and It was a great long weekend trip.
