The Tunisia Lodge is a modern All Inclusive resort hotel with private beach, situated in the heart of Yasmine Hammamet, 400 metres from the medina. This three floor property features 132 air conditioned guestrooms with a modern decor in shades of green and blue featuring Moorish design features. The furnished balconies or terraces have views of the gardens and swimming pool. Rooms have a private bathroom with separate WC. All include cable TV, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, minibars and safes. The All Inclusive rate plan incorporates buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner; snacks at the pool and beach club; drinks including soft drinks, coffee, wine, beer, cocktails and local alcoholic spirits; resort facilities, activities and entertainment.
Sun worshippers can head down to one of the two outdoor swimming pools one of which has a large cascade waterfall surrounded by palm trees; there is also a shallow basin for children. The hotel mini club will keep children aged 4 to 12 happy with a programme of entertainment and there is plenty for adults from aerobics classes, archery, pool games and language lessons to folk music and dancing in the evenings, as well as a disco and bar, open until 2 AM (All Inclusive drinks until 11 PM). Dining options include the main buffet restaurant, pool side buffet restaurant, and a beach club bar. The hotel provides a shuttle bus down to its beach (600 metres away) and the beach club provides deckchairs, sun beds and parasols for guests to use as well as showers. At the beach guests can have windsurfing lessons and enjoy the use of pedal boats and canoes. There is also a gym, heated indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath and spa tub. Further relaxation comes in the form of the massage treatment room. Guests can enjoy access to onsite tennis and volleyball courts and there is also a games room with billiards, table tennis and darts. Practical amenities include currency exchange, laundry services and free parking. The town of Hammamet is a 15 kilometre trip and Tunis Carthage Airport is 65 kilometres away, approximately one hour’s drive.
