"Changed my life, I think is the most appropriate rating. I can honestly say that I had never experienced fine dining before visiting the Artichoke Restaurant in Amersham. There are many places with superb menus in Buckinghamshire but only a few compare and, in my opinion, none surpass this fine restaurant. On the way to a Michelin Star the value is superb. I must add that I haven’t yet eaten at the ‘Fat Duck’ having been put off by the experimental nature of the chef. Innovative dishes and the best quality produce, combined with staff who have a passion for food show, in this small, soon to be big, little restaurant"
