Location. Manor of Groves Hotel is set in 150 acres of Hertfordshire countryside, 0.5 miles from the English village of High Wych and 22 miles from London.
Hotel Features. This four storey hotel is set in a Georgian country house with a modern annexe. The main house is linked to the modern building by a glass atrium, which houses the hotel restaurant and bar. Spa services include beauty treatments, complimentary therapies and massage, and there is a sauna and steam room. The air conditioned public areas have wireless Internet access (surcharge), and complimentary newspapers are also on offer in the lobby. Complimentary parking is available on site.

La Brasserie serves international dishes with French influences in a Parisian style setting in the atrium. A complimentary full English breakfast is provided daily.

Expert Tip. The House on the Hill Toy Museum, six miles from the hotel, was started in 1946 by Alan Goldsmith when he bought a train set. Now the collection is owned and curated by Alan and his son, and is said to be the largest collection in private hands in Europe.
