"We stayed at this place, cannot be called a Hotel on 3rd december 2006. The first room we were showed was no larger than a cupboard, shower was filthy, hairdry had a plug that had melted and exposing bare wires ( totally dangerous ) Pillows has blood stains. Complained to Manager and was moved to Room 18. this room was slightly smaller, but still as filthy as Room 7. In morning we went for our breakfast, well you have to see it to believe it. The filth was not only on all the passage ways and staircases but was worse in the dining area. So bad we refused to eat there and voiced our opinions with the manager, who I hasten to add refused to admit that he was the manager. In the end we were accused of being Racist’s because he was Asian and that we challanged the state of the place. To be honest this Hotel should be shut down immediately, not only on health grounds but also on Fire safety. There are no fire exit signs whatsoever, stairs are carpeted in threadbare carpets, very easy to trip up, saw no signs of emergency lighting on our floor. Please dont be had like we have been, take no notice of the photos on their web site, they are just not true. Check out other hotel review sights and see the candid photos for yourself. We will be taking our complaints much further than just posting a review, this hotel should be shut down for good."
