The blue paint job and simple tables have all the atmosphere of a truck stop, but the restaurant is always alive with chatter and the satisfying clatter of cutlery on empty plates. The customers range from local characters to top international CEOs taking a guilty break from grazing menus or calorie-controlled lunches. All the fish is cooked to order, and portions are generous to the point of almost insurmountable if you finish all your chips – which you will, as they are so good.
