"My husband and I ate at House of Emperor several times while on vacation in the '90's. When we moved to Virginia we continued to eat there for lunch and dinner on a weekly basis. Once we moved to Potomac Falls we go there less often but we do enjoy the food as occasional take out. It's a family-owned establishment and is well managed. The dining room is clean and the tables are organized so you can carry a conversation in private. The food is predictably yummy -- consistancy in preparation and quality. The orange Crispy Beef (mild) is nicely done. The recipes are authentic, but you have to remember that any "foreign" menu will be adjusted for the American palate. As a 10+ year patron, I would refer anyone to House of Emperor with confidence. It's a lovely, simple place to bring friends and family for a lunch or dinner outing. I only wish they served brewed coffee. Otherwise, I give them high marks for their menu and good service."
