Luray

Shenandoah Valley's Luray, Va.
"Aaaahhhh, what to say about Luray. This quaint town of under 5,000 people, nestled in the Shenandoah Valley. Luray is surrounded by the George Washington National Forest and the Shenandoah National Park with the Shenandoah River running through the valley. You'll find a multitude of activities year round. We have the world famous Luray Caverns and the scenic Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park. If you enjoy the great outdoors you'll love hiking to waterfalls, leisuerly horseback riding, and beautiful overlooks along the Skyline Drive. Don't forget to bring your binoculars for spotting native birds, deer and the occassional black bear. If fishing is a passion, you'll love the Shenandoah River and Lake Arrowhead. While your here, there are many types of accommodations. Fom hotels, B&B's or private vacation rental cabins. Allstar Lodging offers over 100 unique vacation rentals, cabins or b&B's. Visit www.allstarlodging.com or the Luray Chamber of Commerce for more information on Luray, accommodations, attractions and dining.
