If you’re in the area, be sure to see the second college to be chartered in the colonies – William and Mary College. It was chartered on February 8, 1693, by King William III and Queen Mary II and has a long and interesting history. Simply viewing the architecture and learning a bit more about the school’s history is well worth the time.
