I was born and raised in the Philippines, this chaotic but beautiful group of islands in the middle of Asia. I moved to Sydney last year and am currently a graduate student. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I also like to eat. A lot. (I wonder how many times I’m going to say that in this profile…) My top five destinations change every year, I think, but for now they’re Peru, Chile, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Libya. (You can chuck in Cuba, Croatia and Brazil, too!) When studying isn’t driving me insane, I work part-time at a ticketing agency, read, spend a lot of time browsing bookstores, watching movies, learning useless celebrity trivia and kickboxing.

I like to eat and I’m always hungry. I am a history nut and a bit of a culture vulture with some geek mixed in. I like computers, geography, absolutely useless celebrity trivia and travel, of course. What I like most about travel is exploring places that are off the beaten track or going where the locals go, especially in terms of restaurants. Travelling is all about the culture and the food for me. I love trying out new things.
