"I started going to Dixe’s right after it opened. It was phenomenal then, and it hasn’t changed. The down-home style, and setting is fantastic. make sure you get the red beans and rice, and if you like it hot, ask for “The Man,” their special HOT sauce. I moved from eh Seattle area a few years ago, but Dixie’s is always the first place I visit when I get back. Don’t whine about waiting in line… it’s gonna happen (and it’s worth it)."
