Glide on in to the Ephrata Travelodge located in central Ephrata at Basin and Division Streets just east of the Cascade Mountains in the Columbia Basin. The Ephrata Municipal Airport is less than a couple miles away. Just three hours east of Seattle, glider pilots from all over the Northwest base their gliders in Ephrata, which hosts numerous glider events between April and October. Throughout the year the airport also hosts aerobatic contests and radio controlled airplane events.
Visitors can also check out the Sun Lakes State Park about 25 miles away and Grand Coulee Dam which hosts a laser light show, about 47 miles away.
