Important Hotel Information:

Seattle’s Grand Hyatt is a hotel in the grand tradition, and you’ll know it from the moment you pull in to the circular drive and see the enormous William de Kooning sculpture. The Grand Hyatt feels like a mini-city; floors one through nine are filled with restaurants – such as Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and The Cheesecake Factory – as well as dozens of guest shops and executive meeting rooms. From the hotel’s collection of fine art to the luxe contemporary furnishings, Seattle’s Grand Hyatt is designed to comfort the weary traveler. Guest rooms fill floors 10 and above, ensuring every room has a spectacular, panoramic city view. Mahogany and rattan furnishings, along with the textured ocher neutrals, imbue the guest rooms with style and verve. Large fireplaces and bathrooms with deep golden stone tubs round out the Hyatt’s luxurious features. Located between the Pike Place Market and the convention center, the Hyatt is close to the downtown shopping district.

Beautiful hotel, tough to find.

JustonParker's rating:

"Get a room facing away from the sound. Yes, I said away. If you face the lake, you can watch the commuter sea planes take off and land all day! We were in a corner room, which has some extra space and windows on two side. Request one, it makes a difference. The location is more for business, but leisure would enjoy it also."
