Important Hotel Information:

Just across the street from SeaTac, you’ll find an airport hotel with a downtown feel. The Hilton Seattle Airport and Conference Center’s recent $56 million renovation solidified the hotel’s reputation as the top airport hotel in the area. The spacious lobby, with its softly glowing chandeliers and gleaming patterned tile floor, is ample evidence of the Hilton’s attractive styling. Guest rooms are comfortably appointed. Welcoming overstuffed armchairs in shades of soft cranberry complement wine-colored bedspreads. Suites feature living areas with Deco-style hanging lamps, ample plush seating, and glass-topped coffee tables. Views overlooking the tranquil gazebo garden are restorative and charming. Spencer’s for Steak and Chops is the hotel’s steakhouse, offering surf and turf combos in a traditional mahogany dining room. If you find yourself with some extra time, the South Center shopping mall is a short cab ride away.

Doesn't live up to the Hilton name

Gini's rating:

"After reading the description on their webpage and looking at the pictures, I was really disappointed in the hotel. I stay in hotels Monday-Friday every week, and usually try to make it a Hilton property (prefer Embassy Suites, Doubletree, Hilton, Homewood Suites in that order). I don't mind an older hotel that's been renovated, sometimes that makes for a really nice hotel. This wasn't one of those, however. The lobby was very nice, as they say in their description. And they have done a remodel, which is evident. But the bathrooms are still seriously in need of some work. White ceramic tile surrounds have seen better days (like the days of the 1980's) and at a minimum they need to be regrouted. The water pressure was really poor and their choice of shower heads did nothing to improve this. I'm a HiltonHonors Diamond member, so I "should" get coupons for a free breakfast every morning. This hotel, however, gave me a coupon for either a free breakfast item and drink at the coffee bar or $8.00 off breakfast in the dining room. I can't eat just a muffin for breakfast, so I chose the dining room. $8 didn't even cover half of the cost of breakfast. Then there's the parking issue. I don't mind paying big bucks for parking in a city where space is at a premium, but their parking garage is huge and mostly empty. It's also a very (VERY) long walk from the hotel itself. The parking here cost more than my rental car itself! That's absolutely ridiculous. I was not impressed."
