The Vance Hotel is no more, having been replaced by the uber-hip and trendy Hotel Max. For art and photography aficionados, the Max will serve as more than just a place to hang your hat. Located in the shopping district, Hotel Max puts you within a couple blocks of the massive flagship Nordstrom, as well as Westlake Center. The Max is not like any other hotel in Seattle. Its design influences feel both modern Asian and European contemporary. Matte charcoal gray walls line the lobby, and are dramatically offset by fire-engine glossy red glass spheres.
