Location. Surrounded by the majesty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Blue Ridge Village enjoys fresh country air and a wooded setting in the tiny town of Banner Elk, North Carolina. Less than five miles from the Tennessee border, the area greets visitors with an aura of serenity and quiet comfort. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Golf Course is less than one half mile from the property and there are several other ski areas and golf courses within twenty miles.
Hotel Features. The condo resort features an indoor pool, a jetted tub and a small fitness center. Miniature golf and beach volleyball are also available on site, and there are barbeques and a picnic area for outdoor grilling fun. Complimentary shuttles transport guests to nearby ski areas tour assistance is available. Business machines are available for guest use and there is a video library on site.
Guestrooms. Each of the one and two bedroom condos feature full kitchens with ranges, refrigerators and microwave ovens. Some units feature fireplaces and decks, and some have jetted tubs in the bathroom. All units include cable television with DVD players and VCRs.
Expert Tip. Grandfather Mountain, just over four miles from the property, boasts views that stretch out over 100 miles from the Mile High Swinging Bridge. In the Environmental Habitat, visitors can observe deer, cougars, black bear and eagles.
